Jonas J. Driedger is a Researcher at the Department of International Institutions at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) and a member of the Regime Competition Research Group and the LOEWE Group (Prof. Deitelhoff). He also serves as Co-Chair of the PRIF Research Council. Previously, he held roles such as Interim Professor of Political Science (specializing in International Security) at Goethe University Frankfurt (2023–2024), Postdoctoral Researcher at Johns Hopkins University’s Henry A. Kissinger Center (2021–2022), and DAAD/AICGS Research Fellow (2020). His research focuses on interstate wars, deterrence, great power relations, and Russian/transatlantic security policy.
Education: PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute (EUI), Florence (2015–2020).
