Jonas Horn

Jonas Horn is a doctoral student affiliated with the University of Cologne and the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies. He is part of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE) since 2024.

Research Interests: Jonas focuses on Comparative Political Economy, with a specific emphasis on the interplay between Digitization and Financialization. His work explores how digital technologies reshape capitalist structures and institutional frameworks.

Current Role: He is engaged in the doctoral program IMPRS-SPCE, where his dissertation project investigates Digitalization and Capitalist Diversity. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a pre-doctoral student and research assistant at the same university from 2021 to 2024.
