Jonah Rimer is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at The University of Queensland and Convenor of the Cyber Criminology field of study for UQ's postgraduate Cyber Security programs. He holds a DPhil in Anthropology from the University of Oxford and has affiliations with the Young Lives Research Lab (Canada) and the Centre for Digital Cultures & Societies. His research focuses on cybercrime, online sexual offending, child abuse, and digital media impacts, with a particular emphasis on human factors and social elements of cybercrime.
Education: DPhil in Anthropology (University of Oxford), MPhil in Medical Anthropology (Oxford), BA (Hons) in Anthropology and Sociology (University of Guelph).
