Jonah King

Jonah King is an Assistant Professor of Interactive Digital Media at Stevens Institute of Technology's School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. As an interdisciplinary artist and technologist, King explores human-nonhuman relations and speculative futures through emerging technologies like VR and motion capture. His work examines ecological intimacy and challenges anthropocentric worldviews through immersive experiences.

Research interests focus on the 'extended ecological body' concept, merging Donna Haraway's cyborg theory with Timothy Morton's queer ecology. Key areas include:
