Jon Moeller

Jon Moeller is a Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice at Dordt University. With over 32 years of law enforcement experience, including 22 years as a Special Agent with the FBI and prior roles as an inner-city patrol officer and undercover detective, Moeller brings practical expertise to his academic role. He also works part-time as a sheriff’s deputy.

Moeller has been involved in high-profile cases such as the kidnapping of Alicia Kozakiewicz, the Amerithrax investigation, and the D.C. Sniper killings. He was also a First Responder during the September 11, 2001, attack on the Pentagon and led the FBI HMRT team in the first Hazmat and Evidence Response team to enter the Pentagon on September 12, 2001.
