Jon Mills is a Professor of Geomatic Engineering at Newcastle University's School of Engineering. He serves as Deputy Head of the Geospatial Engineering group and Director of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Geospatial Systems. His research focuses on optimized geospatial solutions for measurement, mapping, and monitoring in engineering contexts. He leads the Newcastle Earth Observation research laboratory (NEOlab) and chairs EuroSDR's Commission 1 on primary data acquisition.
