Jon Kolstad is a Professor at the Haas School of Business and the Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. He holds the Henry J. Kaiser Chair and is a core faculty member in the Computational Precision Health Graduate Group (UC Berkeley/UCSF). His research focuses on health economics, industrial organization, and public economics, with methodological applications of behavioral economics, machine learning, and AI to policy-relevant market complexities.
