Jon Baldwin

Jon Baldwin is an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), with appointments in the School of Medicine - Department of Radiology (2003–present) and the School of Health Professions (2021–present). He specializes in Nuclear Medicine and has contributed extensively to diagnostic imaging, theranostics, and clinical education.

• Education: Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from Nova Southeastern University (2000)
• Training: Internship at Wellington Regional Medical Center (2001), Residency at UAB Hospital (2003)

Research Interests focus on nuclear medicine applications in cardiology, oncology, and pediatrics. His work includes optimizing imaging protocols, advancing theranostic techniques, and improving resident education. He has led studies on amyloid scanning for dementia, pulmonary embolism diagnostics, and PET/CT integration in lymphoma evaluation.
