Jon Adams

Distinguished Professor Jon Adams is a leading academic in public health and health services research at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), serving as Deputy Head of School (Research) in the School of Public Health. He holds concurrent roles including Director of the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM) and Honorary Professorship at Imperial College London.

His mentorship has guided 20+ completed PhD students and supported early-career researchers in securing $5.4M in fellowships. Adams also chairs major initiatives like the SOLAR osteopathic leadership program and co-leads the ORION practice-based research network.

Current research priorities include mindfulness in healthcare, brain hemisphere hypothesis applications, and translational research in chronic disease prevention and management.
