About
Jolanta Gutkowska is a Full Professor at the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Montreal. She is affiliated with the CRCHUM (Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal) and CHUM (Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal).
Research Interests: Her work focuses on stem cell differentiation into cardiomyocytes, oxytocin's role as a cardiovascular hormone, and the therapeutic potential of biologically active peptides. She investigates mechanisms of cell protection, metabolic and cardiovascular complications in diabetes, and signaling pathways in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion.
