Johnny C. Chriscoe is an Associate Professor at Campbell Law School, Campbell University, teaching torts, insurance law, trial advocacy, and appellate practice. He previously served as Associate Dean for External Relations and has coached trial teams. With extensive litigation experience, Chriscoe consults on torts and insurance law matters while maintaining an office in Room 403 at 225 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh.
His scholarship includes supplements for Howell's Shuford North Carolina Civil Practice and Procedure. Chriscoe received Campbell Law's Professor of the Year award three times and the Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award for pedagogical impact. Professional service includes past Vice Presidency of North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services Board.
Education includes a J.D. degree from Campbell University (1990, summa cum laude, first in class). Early career involved private practice focusing on litigation and service as research assistant at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
