Dr. John Wilcox has been Professor of Philosophy at Spalding University since 1987, following completion of his Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame. He additionally teaches philosophy for the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program during summers.
His teaching and research concentrate on ethical leadership frameworks, logical reasoning, and philosophical conceptions of personhood. He emphasizes critical engagement with classical philosophical texts and their application to contemporary ethical dilemmas, particularly within leadership contexts.
