John Walker

John Walker serves as Associate Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship and Division Head of Business Administration, Communications and Data Science at Simpson College. He directs the Storm Initiative and advises the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO club), actively mentoring students in business development and entrepreneurship.

His educational credentials include an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa and a B.S. in Psychology from Iowa State University. Dr. Walker's research focuses on practical business applications, with expertise spanning business startups, organizational management, and Business Model Canvas™ methodologies.

As an active member of the metro business community, he develops personal business ventures while guiding student entrepreneurs through the Storm Initiative. His work bridges academic theory with real-world business implementation.
