John Thomasson is a Professor of Voice (Music Pedagogy) and Deputy Department Head at the Department of Vocal Studies within the School of Music & Art Education (SOMA) at Mozarteum University. He holds a doctorate in voice performance from the University of Iowa and performance degrees in opera and German Lied from Mozarteum University. Previously, he served as Professor of Voice at Florida Southern College and Shorter University.
