John Seng

Dr. John Seng is Professor in the Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Cal Poly State University's College of Engineering. His teaching and research focus spans robotics, embedded systems, and computer architecture with applications in educational technology.

He directs the Roborodentia robotics competition and has developed several educational platforms including the Bumblebee robot controller and PolyBot Board. Research investigates autonomous navigation, robotic perception, and innovative STEM education methodologies.

Recent publications demonstrate his dual focus on technical robotics research and engineering pedagogy, including projects developing autonomous navigation systems and creating accessible educational platforms for undergraduate students.
