John R. Mc Neill

John R. Mc Neill is a Distinguished University Professor at Georgetown University, holding dual appointments in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the College's Department of History. Born and raised in Chicago, he earned a B.A. from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. from Duke University. Since 1985, he has taught world history, environmental history, and international history at Georgetown.
