Dr. John Perry is an Associate Professor and Division Head at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba, where he also serves as Acting Associate Dean (Academic). He holds a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and a Master of Science in Immunology from the University of Manitoba, along with a certificate in Oral Pathology.
His research focuses on identifying the underlying causes of periodontal disease and developing more effective admission tools for Canadian undergraduate dentistry programs. He also maintains a part-time oral pathology specialty practice, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue lesions.
