John Magpayo

Mr John Magpayo is a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Middlesex University's Faculty of Business and Law, Department of Accounting, Finance & Economics. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and holder of a Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) from ICAEW, he teaches ACC3135 - Accounting Theory and FIN1120 - Business Environment to BA Accounting and Finance and BSc Business Accounting students.

His research focuses on Behavioural Economics, Altruism, Charitable giving, and Experimental Economics, including an ongoing project on charitable giving in museums. He leads ACC3135 and FIN1120 modules while maintaining active academic engagement.
