John M. Mugane is the Professor of the Practice of African Languages and Cultures and Director of the African Language Program at Harvard University's Department of African and African American Studies. Since 2003, he has led the program to enhance African language and cultural education. His work focuses on Bantu linguistics, African languages revitalization, and innovative language instruction methods.
