John Kim is the Graduate Programs Career Advisor and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business. His professional background spans over a decade in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG roles at major organizations like The Walt Disney Company and Herman Miller. He previously served as Head of Impact and Strategy at 1Row, a consulting firm for purpose-driven ventures, and worked at Lipman Hearne, supporting nonprofits and higher education institutions. Earlier roles include Peace Corps service in Morocco, addressing food insecurity in the US and South Africa, and program evaluation for the UN World Food Programme in Malawi.
