John J. LaPres

John J. LaPres is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University's College of Natural Science. His research focuses on the PAS superfamily of proteins, particularly the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) signaling pathways involved in dioxin and PCB toxicity, as well as hypoxia inducible factors (HIFs) in tumor growth, angiogenesis, and metal-induced toxicity.
