John Hays

Dr. John Hays is an Associate Professor at Erasmus MC within the Medical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases department. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, plasmid biology, and diagnostic innovation in infectious diseases.

• Active in antimicrobial resistance and genomics research
• Developed bioinformatics tools like WeFaceNano and BenchAMRking
• Recipient of the 1992 John Adams Memorial Prize for serological surveys
