Dr. John Hart Jr. is a Professor of Behavioral and Brain Sciences and Inaugural Holder of the Distinguished Chair in Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Dallas. He holds joint appointments at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry. His research focuses on semantic memory mechanisms, brain disorders (e.g., PTSD, Alzheimer’s, TBI), and neurotechnology for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
