John Hall

John Hall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte). With a background in industry, he has held senior roles in design, manufacturing, maintenance, and reliability engineering, and is a licensed professional engineer. His research focuses on sustainable systems design, emphasizing adaptability, reliability, and lifecycle analysis.

Hall earned his graduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin after a career in industry. His work includes innovative methods for enhancing wind turbine productivity and longevity, resulting in a patent and a startup company developing adaptive blade software and technology.
