John Gibbon

John Gibbon is a Research Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London, affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Since 1980, he has been part of the Mathematics Department, focusing on turbulence in fluid dynamics from a mathematical perspective. His research addresses unresolved problems in applied mathematics, including the regularity of 3D incompressible Navier-Stokes and Euler equations, and vorticity clustering on fractal-like sets.
