Dr. John Garrett is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Radiology, Medical Physics, and Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. As Director of Imaging Informatics for Radiology, he oversees informatics projects, clinical data access, and computational infrastructure for imaging research. He holds a PhD from UW-Madison (2017) and specializes in applying deep learning and federated learning to medical imaging, particularly in abdominal CT screening and multi-site frameworks.
