John Gabriel is a Senior Professor of Sociology at London Metropolitan University, affiliated with the School of Social Sciences and Professions and the Centre for Life Writing and Oral History. He holds a B.A. and PhD from the University of Liverpool and has been recognized as a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA) since 2016.
