John Fronczak

John Fronczak is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Nebraska, Kearney (UNK), where he has taught foundational art courses and directed the Walker Art Gallery since 2006. His academic career began in 1976 at the University of Houston at Clear Lake City, transitioning to roles in Virginia as a professional picture framer and adjunct instructor before moving to Nebraska in 2001. Fronczak’s artistic practice spans abstraction and realism, with a notable series of realistic oil paintings focusing on architectural reflections in storefront windows.
