John Fletcher

John Fletcher is a Professor of Music at Oklahoma Christian University, where he has served on faculty since 1987. His roles include conducting Music Theater productions and teaching instrumental conducting, theory, ear training, and orchestration courses within the Department of Music.

His expertise spans Music Theater direction, instrumental conducting techniques, music theory pedagogy, and trombone performance. As an active trombonist in the Oklahoma City area, he maintains professional performance engagement alongside academic duties. His scholarly focus integrates practical musicianship with theoretical instruction across multiple disciplines.
