John Finch is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Glasgow’s Adam Smith Business School, serving as Associate Dean for East Asia in the College of Social Sciences. Previously, he was Head of the Adam Smith Business School (2016–2023). His research focuses on market studies, business-to-business marketing, and regulation for sustainability. He leads the Innovate-UK-funded Financial Regulation Innovation Lab with FinTech Scotland and the University of Strathclyde. Finch’s career includes roles at the University of Strathclyde and University of Aberdeen, with a PhD from Lancaster University Management School. His work bridges economic sociology and marketing theory, emphasizing regulatory dynamics and sustainable practices.
