John Durant is an Adjunct Professor in MIT's Science, Technology, & Society (STS) Program and Director of the MIT Museum. He holds a BA (1972) and PhD (1977) from Queens’ College, Cambridge in Natural Sciences and History/Philosophy of Science respectively. His career includes leadership roles at London's Science Museum, Imperial College London, and At-Bristol science center.
