John Court

John Court is a Professor of Intermedia Art at the University of the Arts in Helsinki. His work merges drawing, sculpture, and performance, emphasizing spatial and performative elements. He is known for creating interdisciplinary projects that engage public spaces.

Recent professional activities include a sculpture-performative workshop (20–22 March 2019) at the UAP courtyard in Poznań, Poland, organized alongside the International Conference SCULPTURE IN PROCESS. The workshop culminated in a public performance titled Continuous moving object, part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Faculty of Sculpture at UAP. Coordination was led by Dr. Marta Bosowska.

His practice focuses on dynamic, participatory artworks that challenge traditional boundaries between disciplines and audiences.
