John Colan

John Colan is a Professor and Chair of Graphic Design at Montserrat College of Art, where he also teaches in other departments. He founded HallSpace, an online gallery in Boston supporting unaffiliated artists (www.hallspace.org). His professional experience includes design consultancy work with Polaroid Corporation, Tufts University Gallery, and the Somerville Museum. Recent exhibitions include Bytes of Art: Visual Cell at CVA Gallery, Oakland, CA.

Education: Studio Art (Rhode Island College) and additional studies at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. His work is held in the National Museum of Dentistry's collection.
