John Caserta

John P. Caserta is Professor in the Department of English, Literature, and World Languages at Ferris State University's College of Arts, Sciences and Education. He holds a Master of Letters from Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English, an M.A. in English from Marshall University, and a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University.

His expertise includes twentieth-century British and American literature with specialization in James Joyce, alongside teaching creative writing, Italian literature, and American popular literature. He directs the Italian Study Abroad program and serves on the editorial board of the department's literary journal, The Prism.

He has received multiple teaching honors including statewide and international recognition for educational excellence.
