John Baker

Professor John Baker holds the Chair of Mental Health Nursing at the University of Leeds (since 2015) and serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. His research focuses on improving mental health care quality and safety, particularly reducing coercive practices and enhancing patient/staff safety. He has secured over £9 million in research funding, published >100 peer-reviewed articles, and contributed to UK and international mental health policies.
