John A. Miller

John A. Miller is a Professor in the School of Computing at the University of Georgia, specializing in computational data science, simulation, and machine learning. He holds a PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology (1986) and has been a faculty member since 1986, progressing from Assistant Professor (1986–1993) to Professor (2000–present). His research focuses on web-based simulation, workflow management, bioinformatics, and pandemic forecasting using AI and deep learning.

Education: PhD in Computer Science (Georgia Tech, 1986), MS (Georgia Tech, 1982), BS in Applied Mathematics (Northwestern University, 1980).
