Johannes Schultz

Dr. Johannes Schultz is a PostDoc researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden (IFW Dresden), affiliated with the Institute for Integrative Nanosciences. He leads the Advanced Methods of Electron Microscopy Group, focusing on cutting-edge electron microscopy techniques and plasmonics research.

His scientific focus spans magnetic textures and dynamics at micro-to-nano scales, development of ultra-fast electron optical elements with sub-nanosecond response times, Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy in TEM (particularly low-loss excitations), and plasmonics in nanoparticle assemblies and correlated materials.
