Johannes Geith is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University, and affiliated with the Stockholm Center on Global Governance. He contributes to the research project The Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence led by Jonas Tallberg and Magnus Lundgren.

His research focuses on global governance of AI, including actor preferences, bargaining dynamics, and institutional design. He also explores EU politics and transatlantic relations. His publications analyze AI regulation and empirical/normative research agendas.
Johannes teaches quantitative methods, international politics, international security, and comparative politics to undergraduate students, while supervising bachelor's theses. He has previously worked at acatech (National Academy of Science and Engineering) in Munich and held visiting scholar roles at Princeton University and Georgetown University.
