Prof. Dr. Johan Gaume serves as Associate Professor at ETH Zurich's Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, concurrently holding the position of Deputy Head of the Institute for Geotechnical Engineering and leading the Chair of Alpine Mass Movements (Professur Alpine Massenbewegungen).
His research concentrates on geotechnical phenomena in alpine environments with particular expertise in:
