Dr. Joey Shapiro Key is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Washington Bothell's School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physics from Montana State University and a B.A. in Astrophysics from Williams College. Her research focuses on gravitational wave astronomy, including astrophysical parameter estimation across gravitational wave frequencies, and education research for physics and astronomy with diverse student populations. She collaborates internationally with LIGO, NANOGrav, and the NASA/ESA LISA mission.
