Joel Stevenson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Since 2011 he has taught strategic management and entrepreneurship courses while also serving as Assistant Director of the Faber Entrepreneurship Center and founder of the Moore School Instigator program.

Research & Teaching Interests:
Joel’s teaching and research revolve around practical entrepreneurship, strategic management, and business ethics. Drawing on three decades of real-world experience founding and exiting four ventures—two sold to private investors, one taken public, and one acquired by a Fortune 500 company—he emphasizes experiential learning and the Socratic method in the classroom.

Personal Interests:
When not teaching, Joel enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.
