Joe Rosenthal

Joe Rosenthal is Clinical Professor of Primary Care Education at University College London's Department of Primary Care & Population Health. A medical graduate of University of Wales (1986), he joined UCL in 1990 and became Professor in 2018. He continues clinical practice as a part-time Salaried GP in Islington alongside his academic role. Professor Rosenthal serves as Programme Director of the Royal Free GP Specialty Training Programme and leads Integrated Academic Clinical Training in General Practice at UCL.

His educational research investigates:

Recent work focuses on adapting primary care education to integrated care systems, developing virtual teaching resources, and addressing placement capacity challenges.
