Joe Pateman

Dr. Joe Pateman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics at York University, joining in July 2023 from the University of Sheffield, where he served as a Teaching Associate. His research focuses on Marxism-Leninism, its historical influence, and its intersections with Black liberation movements and racial oppression. He holds a Ph.D., MRes, and BA (First Class) in Politics from the University of Nottingham.
