Joe DiMisa is an Instructor in Environmental Management at The Civil Engineer School, Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Geography and Environmental Planning from Towson State University. Before joining AFIT, he worked as an environmental planner for firms including Woolpert, LJB Inc., and Coastal Resources, Inc., specializing in natural resources management and regulatory compliance.
DiMisa teaches courses such as WENV 541 (Water Quality Management), WENV 542 (Drinking Water Quality Management), and WENV 450 (Environmental Impact Assessment Process). His expertise spans NEPA compliance, endangered species act regulations, wetlands permitting, and installation encroachment planning.
