Joe Bracamonte

Joe Bracamonte is a Professor of Equine Surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. He holds a DVM from the University of Extremadura and is board-certified by ACVS and ECVS. His research focuses on biomarkers for septic arthritis, adhesion formation, and anastomotic healing in horses. He has published extensively on equine laparoscopy and surgical techniques.

Research interests include synovial fluid biomarkers, laparoscopy, and biomechanical evaluation of surgical procedures. His clinical work emphasizes colic management and sports medicine.
