Rosen’s scholarship centers on narrative theory, Modernisms, and gender/sexuality studies, particularly 1920s women’s fiction. She examines repetition as a subversive narrative mode in post-WWI marriage-plot revisions, analyzing works by H.D., Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Nella Larsen, Edith Wharton, and Virginia Woolf. Her recent publications focus on gendered interpretations of nature and temporality in Orlando.
As a Writing Across the Curriculum coordinator, she advocates for writing integration across disciplines. While no scientific awards are mentioned, her work has appeared in the Virginia Woolf Miscellany and Forces of Nature. She currently develops a manuscript on 1920s women’s fiction and teaches courses spanning composition, literature, and critical thinking.
