Jodi Woodruff

Jodi Woodruff, PhD, is Assistant Research Professor in Health Data Science at the Missouri Institute of Mental Health (University of Missouri). Her research examines neurocognitive impacts of HIV, opioid use disorders, and neuroimaging biomarkers.

Research utilizes large-scale health datasets including Medicaid claims data and international HIV cohorts. Investigations focus on treatment outcomes for substance use disorders, cognitive impairment in HIV populations, and neuroanatomical correlates of viral load.

Recent publications analyze impacts of medication-assisted treatment on opioid overdose recurrence and relationships between immunosuppression and brain structure in HIV patients across diverse populations including South Africa.
