Prof. Jochen Schlapp is an Associate Professor of Operations and Technology Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He serves as Academic Director of the BSc in Computational Business Analytics. His research focuses on optimizing R&D and new product development processes, particularly the interplay between new technologies and operations strategy. He emphasizes managing uncertainty in innovation portfolios and the strategic use of contests in procurement.
Prof. Schlapp teaches Innovation Management, New Product Development, and Operations Strategy across EMBA, MBA, and MSc programs.
