Jochen J. Steil is a Professor of Robotics at the Technical University of Braunschweig, specializing in robot learning, human-robot interaction, and cognitive systems. He co-founded Gauss Robotics GmbH (2023) and served as Visiting Professor at Oxford Brookes University (2015-2021). Steil leads the SYnENZ Kommission and contributes to AI ethics frameworks.
