Jocelyn Heath

Jocelyn Heath is an Associate Professor of English at Norfolk State University. She is the author of the debut poetry collection In the Cosmic Fugue (2022). Her work has been published in prestigious journals such as The Atlantic, Crab Orchard Review, and Poet Lore. She currently serves as an Assistant Editor for Smartish Pace. Her research and creative interests span contemporary poetry, literary analysis, and narrative structure. Beyond academia, she engages in hobbies like hiking, sewing, crocheting, and gaming (D&D). She resides in coastal Virginia with her family and cats.
